Before you start

Set up & join

  1. Get the Modrinth App

    It's the free launcher that installs everything for you in one click. Download it for your computer:

  2. Install the Cobblemon modpack

    Open the Modrinth App → the modpack page below → Install. It sets up the right Minecraft version, mods, everything — you don't touch anything.

  3. Launch it

    In the Modrinth App, hit Play on the pack. First launch takes a minute while it downloads. It opens Minecraft with all the Pokémon mods ready.

  4. Add the server

    In Minecraft: Multiplayer → Add Server. Name it anything, and for the address paste: bore.pub:30118

  5. Join & play

    Click the server → Join. You're in — go catch your first Pokémon. 🐣

If something's off

"Can't connect to server"

Double-check the address is exactly bore.pub:30118 (with the colon and the numbers). If it still won't connect, the server may be restarting — wait a minute and try again, or ping us.

"Incompatible / wrong version"

You launched regular Minecraft instead of the modpack. Go back to the Modrinth App and press Play on the Cobblemon pack — that's the one that works.

"I don't own Minecraft"

Minecraft: Java Edition is a one-time purchase from minecraft.net. Ask us if you're stuck — we'll sort it out.
